Today the tour had its first outing of 2019 to the lovely Fairhaven Golf Club, despite the weather 56 brave golfers battled the tough conditions. Thank you to everyone who played today and I really hope to see you all at another event soon. The course by all accounts for this stage in the year was great, with the greens being the highlight for most players, they were fast and true. Mike Moore took the spoils with 41 points, which was clinched on a card play off. However both Ian Whitehead and Gaz Barlow had their chances, Gaz being 25 points through 9 holes. Ian was only needing a net par down the last to win only to blob the hole. Top marksmen Gary Dearden and Mike McKenna fired closest to take the nearest pin prizes, a number of 2s were recorded which earned each player a sleeve of balls. The 4BBB Prize was won by Kenny Jones and Mick Shutt.
